We started off as farmers. We did not own the land we farmed. We leased individual plots of different sizes for various periods of time - the longer the better. Invariably, we would expend a lot of time, effort and money building a soil system to our requirements only to have the landlord decide to sell off to developers. Needless to say, we gained a great deal of experience in soil recovery techniques as we relocated from field to field.
Like many other growers in the Homestead, Florida area, we were put out of the farming business by the Hurricane Andrew in 1992. Our crops in the ground survived well enough, but our ability to harvest, transport or otherwise market them was completely curtailed due to total devastation of the local infrastructure.
Upon relocating to West Central Florida, Kerry began offering consulting services to other farmers. He shared the techniques that he and his partner (of blessed memory) had developed. He could no longer actively farm, but he could share his secrets and help other farmers use the soil recovery techniques he developed. This is what lead to the creation of the organic, non-toxic plant foods, supplements and pest controls you see on this site.
Our reach now extends coast to coast, from Canada to Florida, California, Kansas, South Dakota and Texas in the United States. We have ongoing projects under development in East Africa, Mexico, Haiti Jamaica and Micronesia. Our clients range in variety from backyard gardeners - even window boxes - to large commercial farms, in size from less than one acre up to hundreds, even thousands of acres. They grow fruit, vegetables, hay pasture, and some of the healthiest and most beautiful ornamentals on Earth. There is a pecan tree farm on the East Coast and almond tree farm on the West Coast. Our East African project entails building a 6,000 acre demonstration-test farm from scratch, complete with a training syllabus for local farmers in cooperation with the local agricultural university.
